Résumé

You didn't get into your work to spend half of it wrestling email, formatting documents and turning scribbled meeting notes into something readable. Twice as Much, Half the Time is the plain-English guide to handing all of that, and much more, to AI, so you can get through your day in a fraction of the hours and spend what's left on the work that actually matters. No coding, no productivity-guru nonsense.
Just clear, practical moves for the real tasks that eat your week: your inbox, meetings, writing, research, planning, spreadsheets, and the repetitive jobs you dread. You'll learn which tasks to hand over first, exactly how to ask so you get results you can actually use, and even how to delegate whole multi-step jobs and get them back finished. Stop working like a machine, and let the machine do the machine-work.
Jonathan Hirasawa Ashton is a marketing and communications leader with a background in technology law, who has spent more than twenty years - the last fifteen in the Gulf - helping organisations understand and adopt emerging technology. He holds an LLM in Technology, Media & Telecommunications Law from Queen Mary University of London, with a dissertation on AI, ethics and intellectual property, alongside executive study at Oxford's Saïd Business School and an MA from the University of Glasgow.
He writes the Common Ground newsletter, and a growing series of plain-English guides that make new technology feel obvious rather than intimidating. Born in Britain and based in Dubai, he believes most people don't need to become experts in AI - they just need to know how to ask.
