The Concert

Eight months after the pulse took down the power grid, the internet, and almost everything people once depended on, the small town of Miller is still learning how to survive. Food is rationed. Fuel is guarded. Electricity is reserved for things that matter. Then a handwritten sign appears outside the old hardware store. COMMUNITY CONCERTSATURDAY NIGHTEVERYONE WELCOMESome people see it as hope. Others see it as a dangerous waste of fuel.
As Saturday approaches, old instruments come out of storage, forgotten songs return, and the people of Miller begin to remember something they had nearly lost. Surviving may keep them alive, but it does not give them something to live for. The Concert is a grounded post-apocalyptic story about community, music, sacrifice, and the moment tomorrow becomes something worth looking forward to again.
