Résumé

Julie had a knack for finding treasures in the unlikeliest of places. She loved collecting old furniture and other forgotten items and would often trudge through her neighborhood on trash day, her eyes peeled for hidden gems. It was like a thrilling treasure hunt. What might be lurking around the next corner? Her trusty sidekick was an old, creaky red wagon meant for a child but perfect for hauling her spoils.
Julie's heart raced with possibility every time she went out, thinking she might discover a piece to upcycle and give new life to-or maybe even a little something to sell. Her friends never knew what she would show up with next. Would it be a shabby armchair or a wobbly table? Today, as she cheerfully scoured the streets, something new caught her eye. Atop a weathered trash can, she noticed a broken doll lying helplessly, missing an arm and looking as if it had just been through a tough battle.
The doll was torn apart and abandoned, its blank eyes staring at her. How could anyone toss out something so full of potential?
