Résumé
The setting for this tale is a broken down old farm house occupied by a young woman and the friend she has taken in. The friend is a struggling artist, a painter who has turned his back on the normal trappings of society, devoting himself entirely to his art, determined to eke out a living, meagre as it may be, doing what he loves. When he embarks on the first of a series of intended portraits, that of German serial killer, Peter Kurten, he cannot know the turn of events that will follow.
This is an eerie, understated and minimalist horror story of which I am very proud. Part One was written in 2012, with Part Two added in 2020. Please enjoy. 29, 208 words.
