LIL BORK

Jake Stevens is a successful but reclusive writer, living a quiet life alone on his bush block. His neighbours are few and he doesn't socialise. A new neighbour, Rebekah Rising, moves in down the road and is intent on getting to know him, and to know him intimately. Jake is wary but soon finds himself drawn to her almost beyond his will. A series of peculiar, frightening, and seemingly supernatural events begin to invade Jake's life, and most peculiarly, they somehow involve Rebekah.
After a visit to an old friend, Jake learns of Rebekah's strange and tragic past, her years of suffering in the wake of that, and of her eventual triumphs, personally and in business. When it becomes apparent that Rebekah has spent years obsessed with one of Jake's novels, the story takes on another bizarre twist. Jake and Rebekah become a couple, and the cause of Jake's strange episodes is revealed.
