Résumé

James Earl Ray was framed for the murder of Martin Luther King and the shot that killed MLK was fired from the bushes rather than the bathroom window of the flophouse located at 422 1/2 S. Main St., 200 feet from the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. The legal defense of James Earl Ray was designed to coerce James Earl Ray into a guilty plea and Ray recanted his confession of guilt for the death of MLK almost immediately after pleading guilty.
Witnesses who saw a man running down the stairs of the 422 1/2 S. Main St. flophouse in Memphis, where the bullet that killed King was alleged to have come from a bathroom window, stated the man they saw run down the stairs after the bullet was fired did not match the description of James Earl Ray and were either silenced or disappeared, according to reports. A mysterious man named Raul framed James Earl Ray and probably worked for the CIA because he was a gunrunner similar to anti-Castro gunrunners participating in the coup against Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro through funneling weapons to anti-Castro Cuban exile mercenaries.
A nearby restaurant owner was involved in this assassination cover up framing of James Earl Ray as well as organized crime. Read about the cover-up to frame James Earl Ray for the death of MLK at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis Tennessee on April 4, 1968 at 6:01 p.m. in this informative article. A COINTELPRO program was being conducted against Reverend Martin Luther King prior to his assassination that included domestic intelligence telephone surveillance eavesdropping of his motel room phone calls.
