Lonely Hearts Westward

Doreen felt she was the poorest potential mail order bride in New York. She sought out an agency that paired potential brides with men seeking companions, and eventually, brides. It was 1876, and most lonely farmers  and ranchers were in the Wild West, so it would mean a long and often treacherous journey. She took a deep breath, and opened the agency door.
