Good Fences

Good Fences follows Mona Bell, a hardworking single mother building her barbecue catering business, and Caleb Daniels, a divorced contractor raising his daughter Lilly, as they try to survive modern life in the same nosy HOA neighborhood. Their romance grows slowly through real daily pressure: school calls, homework, work stress, custody schedules, exes, bills, broken fences, a difficult smoker, and constant HOA notices.
Their children, Jordan and Lilly, are not background; they see everything, feel everything, and help force the adults to be honest. Funny, warm, and grounded, the story shows love not as an escape from real life, but as something that must survive it. In a neighborhood full of oddballs, rules, folding chairs, sauce, screenshots, and crooked repairs, Mona and Caleb learn that good fences are not about keeping people out.
