All Creation reposes on a cyclical mode: High and Low Tide, Winter and Summer, Night, and Day. Everything is submitted to sun radiation. As a specialist in Radiology with a lot of practice in Ultrasound, I observed behavior of Pinworms. Those are present in the bowel of every human on Earth, as they are abundant in the soil. There are not hundred worms in one gram of earth, but hundred species of them.
(First ones appear 500 million years ago, and Annelids are nowadays most numerous animals on the Planet.)Most do not survive in the intestinal system. Pinworms do!
