Odyr was born in 1967, in Pelotas, Brazil. He is a comics artist and painter, with two books published—Copacabana, with script by Lobo, and Guadalupe, with script by Angélica Freitas. He has contributed to several comics anthologies and his short stories and illustrations have been published in Brazilian newspapers and magazines such as Fo/ha de São Paulo, 0 Globo, and le Monde Diplomatique l3rasp, among others.
George Orwell was born in 1903 in Motihari, Bengal, India, the son of a British colonial civil servant. He was educated al Eton and in 1922 joined the Indian Imperial Police in Burma, resigning in 1927 to become a writer. From 1933 to 1949 he published various novels and worts of non-fiction. Considered one of the most important writers of the twentieth century, he is the author of Animal farm, Down and Out in Paris and London, and Nineteen Eighty-Four.
He died in London, in 1950.
