Agnus Dei from the "Polish Requiem" for eight-part choir was written after the death of the Primate of the Polish Catolic Church Stefan Wyszynski. It is slow in tempo, supplicatory in nature and quasi-tonal. The focused, saturated harmony and enhanced continuity of musical narration create an atmosphere of prayerful commermoration.
