Der durch das Leben mit der Bibel geprägte Glaube steht in einer tiefen Beziehung mit den Deutungs- und Gestaltungsoptionen in der Welt. Ganz spezifische Haltungen, Emotionen und Kognitionen sind mit dieser Grundausprägung verbunden, die sämtlichen Lebensbereichen ihren Stempel aufdrückt. Um diese Verbindung von gelebter Frömmigkeit und verschiedensten Herausforderungen des Christen in seiner Umwelt geht es in diesem Buch.
Dabei werden exemplarisch verschiedene Bezugsfelder abgeschritten: Die zur Frömmigkeit, zu sozialen Fragen, sowie zur Ökumene der Kirchen und der Religionen.
