Naida, call sign Nova, is selected for the fighter pilot. This is the story of a determined woman who believes that courage, discipline, and hard work can carry her beyond every obstacle placed in her path. Naida does not begin her journey as the strongest, most experienced, or most respected pilot. She begins with a dream - and with the decision not to allow fear, doubt, prejudice, or failure to control her future.
Track after completing initial flight training. She begins in the T-6A Texan II, learning basic aircraft control, instruments, formation flying, navigation, and emergency procedures. She then advances to fast-jet training, where she learns high-speed formation flying, tactical maneuvering, and combat decision-making. The Air Force's current pilot-training system uses aircraft such as the T-6A and T-38C while preparing pilots for their operational assignments.
After earning her wings, Nadia receives an assignment to the F-35A Lightning II. Captain Nadia has the call sign Nova. "Nadia" has dreamed of flying since childhood. After earning her place among an elite group of Air Force pilots, she is selected for a multinational flight program that sends her on missions across the world. From rescue operations over storm-covered islands to dangerous flights through hostile airspace, Nadia serves beside pilots from many nations.
Every mission tests her courage, judgment, and loyalty. But when she discovers that someone inside the international command is secretly endangering their operations, she must decide whom she can trust. Her orders may come from commanders, but the fives in the sky depend on her.
