Whispers of the Mist

One day, Sarep's child would read that letter-somewhere down the road. Perhaps when his mother grew old, perhaps when Adun had returned to the earth like Sarep. But when that moment came, he would understand that love does not always come in forms the world can easily accept. Sometimes, love is the courage to stay, even when never asked. Sometimes, love is guarding what can never be owned. And sometimes, love is letting go-yet loving for a lifetime.
The rain fell again that night. And on the fogged window, memories never truly leave.
