The Directorate had dug a grave miles wide beneath the Sunda plate, a colossal, iron containment sphere designed to function as an incubator for the non-compliant, an industrial furnace with a built-in twenty-year expiration date. They called it District Zero-Nine: Uttapta. They treated its inhabitants as garbage to be siphoned away during the periodic Clean Slate, turned into gas to heat the luxury apartments of the world above.
They believed their system was perfect-self-contained, self-policing, and self-terminating. They forgot that the very mountain they built their empire upon was alive. They forgot that a mother's arms, even when stripped of their barcode and covered in industrial grease, possess a kinetic force that no quantum server can calculate. They did not know that three broken souls, armed with nothing but a memory of the sky, could rewrite the logic of the core and turn a prison into a piston.
This is not a chronicle of survival. This is the anatomy of the fracture.
