The Torrans left their home planet because it was hit by a fragment of a brown star and started spiralling inwards towards their sun. They decided to move to Earth and take over the planet, but they were prevented from attacking Earth by the Abrians. Instead they have been allowed to colonise Earth's deserts. Pretty soon they are looking for a new home because the deserts are too restrictive and the vigilantes who take pot shots at them are a big nuisance.
However the Calibrians have plans to colonise Earth and Abria. They send their fleets to Earth and Abria, but things don't go as expected. The Abrians come to Earth's defence and the Xians come to Abria's defence. The Calibrians are unsuccessful. Lord Agathon of Abria has to call a fast. Their God allowed this attack to reveal their complacency. After that the Abrians resume their way of life, Earth tolerates the Torrans, and the Torrans continue to look for another home.
