The Hunted: A Short Story

The war between the Rorgons and the Phaelans drags on. Forty-five heavy cruisers attack Phaelan and forty heavy cruisers defend. The Rorgons have superior fire power and superior numbers. Twenty-eight of the Phaelan ships are destroyed, but twelve escape. The Rorgons hunt them and spread themselves thinly. As such the Phaelans are able to mount a counterattack.
