Résumé
The Marriage: The WeddingWhat shall people say?In these our times; it is all about the opinion of the people around and about you, rather than the truth. Many supposedly good things go the way of the wind; in to vanity because life is about keeping up and social standards. Everyone is in to tipping the bar or scale other than do the right thing. The decay does not just go as far as our social and family lives but also had brought rot to the way of matrimony.
We are in a season and a time that not only the lives of individuals are hooked on social media but even the church is bound that way. Meaning a perfect marriage is seen as a perfect wedding; perfect pictures in social media and trendy clothing and myriad outfits. The calculous is much on the much substance, the bigger the tent and the more and the celebrated the guests the big the wedding. It is all about the wedding and that is the standard of the society.
The good man or woman does not get married because of the social bar and standard but rather those with enough substance but not virtue are expected to be the married. So went the reason of marriage down the tunnel of oblivion for any who has to marry. So, no lesser man has the voice to justly take any to the isle anymore; it is a place of the one who afford the myriad rites not hold together a good family.
The church of God has turned to calling the proud happy. Now the wedding has destroyed the passage of marriage. Simplistically meaning, no matter how virtuous; if you currently do not have the means you will remain unmarried for good. Yet contrary to the masses lustings; that does not translate to the anticipated outcome of a perfect marriage because the two are a way apart and are not one thing. The wedding is not a marriage and that is the end of the matter.
Desire as you may; in the end the two tell well apart.
