The Island We Call Home

Publish a novel that blends real-life experiences with fiction. A novel that blends fiction with elements of my real-life story, mixed with a powerful approach.             Publishing a novel in 2026. Combine fiction with some true elements from my childhood memories, particularly those involving my grandparents and an island. "The Island We Call Home" by Yong Fenlon is a heartfelt account of a true story about youthful summers, self-discovery, and the beauty of an island that shaped a life-a connection grounded in both reality and fiction. Fictionalized to make the story more dramatic. In this fictional story, the island revealed its beauty, secrets, and lessons to Bella, sharpening her understanding of life and belonging.             This book is based on a little bit of a true story from my childhood.
Back then, introduced a story with the original "Yong", but I've decided to rename it "Bella" for this book.  I thought that this name change helped me reflect a thematic shift, a different focus, a rebranding effort to better connect with my story.
