The Invisible Girl

Courtney and Amber have been roommates since they both started graduate school. The two girls are as opposite as two girls can be. Courtney is outgoing and enjoys the party life that goes with university life. But she just never seems to attract anyone's attention. She rarely dates and if she is lucky she might get a kiss at the door. On the other hand, Amber is a stunningly beautiful woman and she is oblivious to any attention she gets and dates infrequently. The situation with Courtney and Amber is that Courtney is gay and adores the ground Amber walks on, Her days and nights are filled with fantasies of having Amber as a lover.
Two things that are preventing Courtney from realizing her fantasy are that Amber is straight, and Courtney is invisible to Amber when it comes to seeing her as a romantic partner. But one fateful night, when Amber was late coming home, Courtney was waiting for her. When she sees Amber she is a mess and learns that her date forced her to sleep with him. Courtney was there with a soft shoulder for Amber to cry on. Like a mother hen, Courtney tends to Amber's emotional issues and spends every waking hour with her to make sure she doesn't do anything rash.
She even asks her to go clubbing with her. To Courtney it's a date, something she dreams of often. To Amber, she sees Courtney's actions as those of a good friend making sure she is not hurt. But when Amber ditches Courtney in the club and hooks up with another girl, Morgan, thus crushing Courtney. When the two get home, again Amber is oblivious and carries on as normal until her roommate slams the door to her room and begins crying hysterically.
Amber begins to understand something is definitely wrong.
