The Alibi Exchange

Five strangers trade small lies to keep vulnerable people safe. Then one of their alibis covers a murder. Night-shift nurse Claire Mercer knows the members of the Exchange only by their aliases. For five years, their anonymous favors have helped frightened people escape bad dates, abusive partners, and systems too slow to protect them.
At 2:05 a.m., Claire takes an eleven-minute video call from Mercy, the group's trusted founder. Hours later, an investigative journalist is found dead, and Claire tells police she saw Mercy safely at home. She didn't. When the victim's warning arrives after death, Claire discovers that every favor has been saved, every member has been profiled, and someone chose her because she would lie for the right reason.
To find the killer, she must expose the anonymous friends she trusted and confess the secret that could end her nursing career.
