Shelter in Place Swarm

Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Fire Station 1.  The end of the world. Unintentional consequences cause firefighter Matt Daniels to miss a run (one of the most embarrassing things that can happen to a fireman).  Waking up from his near-comatose state, he discovers the world he knows lying in ruins as an alien invasion is under way.  While Daniels works to secure the engine house, a group of strangers ban together and make their way to the station grounds.  Led by Jeff Vaughn, an off-duty fireman, the six gain access to the building and try to plan their exit strategy from the hostile siege of the city.  With seven people occupying the station, supplies quickly dwindle and the people realize that their limited timeframe will soon expire. Group dynamics challenge structured order as the survivors try to coexist within their temporary refuge.
