Sexy Roommate's Surprise

Charlie, a college roommate of Priscilla Mallet's reappeared in her life. Wanting to know why Charlie had left school without a word, Charlie told Prissy her family were put into the Witness Protection Program and was incommunicado. Once the threat died off, she resumed her former life. And now she had a problem and needed PI Mallet's help. Charlie and her girlfriend, Skylar, are quite successful authors of children's books.
Because of their notoriety they were being blackmailed. Using compromising videos of Charlie and Skylar in romantic situations and wanted blackmail money or they would release the videos to ruin the women's writing careers in the children's book industry.  Mallet was eager to help her old friend. Using her connections they are able to identify the culprit and how he got the pictures. They needed a plan to trap the bad guy and get the videos and pictures back.
Then Mallet had a light bulb moment. They'd lure the culprit into collecting more dirt, then nail him and get his evidence. They would send him an email that would rattle his cage that would make him return. That night waiting for the bad guy to show, a figure ran to the base of the tree near the house. It was a woman once caught she said her boyfriend told her what he'd been up to and unless she helped him, he'd rat her off to the cops and say it was her idea.
That just made Mallet more determined to nab this piece of work.
