A strange song follows her from roadside walls into her apartment, repeating the image of a seedpod bursting and bodies scattering into thousands. As her hair vanishes overnight and the world around her breaks into fragments-fish tank, photographs, mirrors, human ties-the story traces the collapse of a woman whose private terror is gradually confirmed by the startled eyes of others.
