In recognition of this service, he was awarded life membership in 2023. Beyond JCI, Peter has devoted decades to sporting clubs, arts organisations, festivals, Rotary, business associations and local governance. His resilience has been tested by health challenges and the devastating loss of the family business to fire, yet he has consistently responded with calm determination and problem-solving. For Peter, success is measured not by recognition but by impact.
