When the nefarious Dr. Kale and his trio of bumbling yet brutal robot associates (Fidenzio Orsino, Mig, and Socket) infiltrate the Nimbus Ark Power Station, they pull the plug on the entire Candescent Hemisphere. As the city lights go out, chaos ensues, and the local police force finds itself literally fumbling in the dark thanks to a misplaced box of car keys and a few questionable tactical decisions.
While the authorities struggle to find their way, Heartlight Square's favorite hero, Neko Con Carne, and her hyperactive partner Aoi are forced to navigate the blackout in their own unique style. What starts as a simple quest for candles to play a game of checkers quickly spirals into a violent encounter with "Chester Lose Raface" and his gang of rhino-headed looters.
