Botan Juba is a girl with a heavy inheritance, a disgraced grandfather's dark reputation and a family tree pruned by unethical experiments. When her educational trust fund is "flushed down the toilet" by anonymous saboteurs, she is forced into a government-mandated experiment... attend the prestigious Gary Malich Academy disguised as a male student. But the academy is no ordinary private school. Under the iron paw of its feline principal, Gary Malich, students don't just study subjects...they run businesses that dictate their future job prospects.
To this end, Botan find herself assigned to Class 6, the "lowest of the low, " which operates out of a murky, neon-lit bar known as The Bengali Brew Den. Led by the delusional yet strangely effective Khan (a student who believes he is the reincarnation of Genghis Khan) the academic year descends into a chaotic battle for total school domination, Botan must maintain her facade while surviving the "unorthodox teaching methods" of a school that feels more like a battlefield than a campus.
