Lyon wasn't looking to breed and he certainly had no intention of choosing a mate--especially outside of his tribe.  In any case, Haley wasn't his 'type'.  Haley was pretty--but she was human and beyond that fecund and that made her totally off limits for anything he was interested in. As far as Leonel was concerned, Haley was just his type.  Unfortunately, she was not only human, she was 'in season' and that alone was enough to set off alarms and make him take a few steps back. Haley's little egg had both of them in its crosshairs, though, and they were having a very hard time ignoring the lure .. Until they decided to get rid of temptation by giving in to it.
