Flirting with Danger II: Domain of the Centaurs

Bridey had absolutely no clue of what had happened to her or where she was.  Even before she discovered they were shifters [centaurs], the medieval setting [castle], customs, and armor they wore were a dead giveaway that she wasn't where she was supposed to be.  Despite the medieval elements, though, she knew she hadn't traveled back in time. Wherever she was, it was not Earth--not the Earth she'd left, at any rate.
And she was pretty convinced, quickly, that escape was not an option. Unfortunately, it was mating season and the king had decreed that she would take part.  And that was a big uh oh. They couldn't honestly think . yes they did.
