As they approach their golden wedding anniversary, Allison and David Manning have had their share of relationship highs and lows. They've also become more like caregiver and patient than lovers as Allison loses her hearing. When the couple agrees to film a new web series called "Haunt Season" with the Beyond Investigations team, their life together takes a turn for the surreal. David wonders whether Allison's violent mood swings could be a side effect of her recent cochlear implant surgery.
The investigations team thinks she may be affected by spirits lingering in the haunted locations they've been exploring. As Allison's episodes escalate, David wonders whether he may be running out of time to save both his marriage and his wife.
