Songbook with 30 Arrangements of Songs by Stephen C. Foster for the guitar. Stephen Collins Foster (1826-1864) was an American composer and probably the best-known songwriter of the time. Many of his compositions - above all: Camptown Races, Oh Susanna and Beautiful Dreamer - are still known today and are an integral part of the US-American culture. This collection of songs is notated in tablature and classical music notation.
You can expand you song repertoire and increase the dexterity. The bass figures give the pieces a harmonious depth and are the perfect training for the thumb. The sounds of the pieces are slowly recorded, a well audible metronome supports the rhythmic understanding. The audio files are available online in a sound player with adjustable playback speed.
