Songbook with 25 German folk songs (Volume 1), arranged with just three chords for accompaniment with the Harmonica / Bluesharp. Many songs can be accompanied with just three chords; all other chords can be omitted or replaced with one of the three. These three chords are also easily playable on the diatonic Richter harmonica - the so-called "Bluesharp". In this songbook, all songs have been arranged so that they can be accompanied with the Bluesharp using the three chords mentioned.
A short introduction to the instrument explains where these chords are located on the Harmonica. Additionally, the position of the multiphonics is shown at the top of each page. These multiphonics have been given key-neutral numbers. This allows the songs to be played in any key - if a song needs to be played higher or lower, this is easily done by switching to an instrument in a different key. These numbers are located above the lyrics, so it's immediately clear at what point each multiphonic chord should be played - similar to many guitar books.
Each song has a "pattern" notated, a suggested rhythm for the accompaniment - similar to a "strumming pattern" on the guitar. A few of these patterns have been explained, so with a little practice, all of these rhythm suggestions can be quickly implemented. The lyrics of all common verses for each song are also provided, perfect for making music together. This book, including all the songs, is well-suited for beginners.
No prior knowledge is necessary, not even reading music.
