Résumé
Foundations of Innovationology establishes Innovationology as a new scientific discipline dedicated to the systematic study of innovation as a universal, emergent, and regenerative process operating across cognitive, social, technological, ecological, and symbolic systems. Moving decisively beyond conventional approaches that reduce innovation to technological advancement, market dynamics, or organizational performance, the book argues that prevailing innovation theories are structurally inadequate for addressing the complexity, uncertainty, and ethical dilemmas of the twenty-first century.
Climate instability, artificial intelligence, social fragmentation, and epistemic polarization expose the limitations of innovation paradigms grounded in disciplinary fragmentation, instrumental rationality, and short-term value extraction. Innovationology is formally introduced in this volume as an original post-disciplinary meta-science, founded by Pitshou Moleka, which reconceptualizes innovation as a fundamental mode of systemic transformation rather than a sector-specific activity.
