The forbidden door is open. Thirteen abandoned versions of Early have escaped into the living manuscript, each carrying memories from a different ending. Their roads overlap. Their taverns share the same fire. Their voices speak through mirrors that no longer agree about which life is real. Early follows the scattered memories across a world being rewritten around him. Every recovered fragment changes something behind him.
Rooms move. Names disappear. Familiar faces remember conversations that never happened. Christopher searches for the missing page that once separated author from character. Without it, their identities continue bleeding together. His thoughts appear in Early's memories, while Early's wounds begin leaving marks on Christopher's body. The faceless figure watches as the ledger reorganizes itself. The Core is no longer preserving the story Christopher wrote.
