Darkness Descends Part Two: Evil Flourishes. Perilous Times

It is time for the Church to wake up and wake up fast!  The world is slipping into spiritual darkness, yet the spiritual watchmen - the believers in the Lord - are not raising an alarm. We need to be aware of the spiritual darkness and how it envelopes life as we know it. We are dangerously ignoring Ezekiel 33, which speaks of the spiritual watchmen who should be alert to the darkness that seeks to destroy, devour and maim the innocent.
The insidious nature of the enemy's strategy and plots to steal and deceive is going unchecked.  The spiritual realm is more real than the natural. The principalities and authorities of darkness have one plan, which is to draw the world - Christians alike - into its web and snare. It is like a spider waiting to devour while it waves its magic like the Sirens of Greek Mythology. For once caught in this dark world, drawn by intrigue and the allure of thrills, then the trap is sprung.
The enemy is very active in seeing darkness envelop all life. So many people over the years have been swept away by the tides of darkness. As this spiritual darkness descends like a thick mist on the world, we need to shine the light of Christ to pierce the blackness of deception, wickedness and enslavement!
