Résumé
Jesus did not speak lightly when He said, "You must be born again" (John 3:7). This was not a suggestion for religious improvement, but a declaration of absolute necessity. Without this new birth, a person may have form without life, knowledge without transformation, and religion without the indwelling reality of God. To be reborn is to have the very life of God planted within the human heart. It is the moment when the Holy Spirit awakens what was dead, softens what was hardened, and opens what was blind.
This is not achieved through human effort, religious attendance, or intellectual agreement with doctrine. It is the sovereign work of God, where a person is made new from within. Without this rebirth, the language of faith may be spoken, but the life of faith cannot be sustained. For the Kingdom of God is not mere words, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. So many gather under the banner of faith, yet remain untouched by the regenerating power of the Spirit.
Yet Scripture makes it clear that those who are not born of the Spirit cannot see the Kingdom, let alone walk in its reality. The absence of spiritual rebirth produces powerless Christianity, therefore form without fire, truth without encounter, and confession without communion.
