Aya DeAniege is a Canadian author who wrote for years, first to please herself then writing stories for free--believing no one would ever pay to read her stuff--before pursuing indie publishing. She still writes mainly for personal pleasure, with topics ranging from romance, fantasy, science fiction, on to whatever takes her fancy in the future. World creation fascinates her, and when she finds one she likes, she dabbles endlessly.

Résumé
Predators walk among us.After two weeks in the grasp of Albert Edwards, Izzy escapes. He was brutally violent, sadistic, violating every law the community had created, but she survived. Barely. Because of her quick thinking, she was able to contact Mr. Wrightworth, who takes her to the Program building to recover. Physically, they can patch her up, she'll be scarred for life, but she will survive.
Emotionally, however, Izzy is a wreck, no longer in control. Mr. Wrightworth sees the shadows in her eyes and decides to do something about it. He's had years of practice, and there's a special place in his playroom for victims who survived trauma. They make the most delightful sounds. The community's worst fears have come true, except it wasn't one of their Doms who caused the damage. With law enforcement focused on the comings and goings of their gatherings, they have to play it by the book.
If only they weren't trying to throw that book at a man who could afford a team of lawyers. Whose very name makes those in power stop, shudder, and ask if there is any way to settle the problem without involving him.
