A Winter Prince for the Summer Crown

His court comes before all else - even his own heart.  When Prince Izolt of the Winter Court first attended the change of the seasons, he had lost his heart to the playful Prince Sorin. Young and stupid, he had not understood his infatuation, and he had not heeded his mother's word, letting the enemy prince come too close. In the end, Izolt had shamed Winter, and in the bitterness of a first love betrayed, he had sworn himself to become as cold as his mother's realm. However, despite his best attempts, rumors circulate that his younger sister will inherit.
Her disposition better suits the crown. In hopes of regaining his honor, Izolt leads Winter's rise in this change of seasons, but that means facing the first love who nearly killed him.  Prince Sorin loathes the Winter Court. His mother, Queen of the Summer Court, raised him well, and one day the Summer Crown would sit upon his head, so he would do whatever it took, call upon whatever advantages he had, to ensure Prince Izolt failed in the change of the seasons.  Whatever turmoil brews in his heart, whatever dark self-reflections he may face, Sorin intends to stick to the path he laid even if it may break his own heart and disqualify him from ever inheriting the throne.
After all, a winter prince could never be destined for a summer fae.  A clash of opposing forces unfolds. Secrets haunt the royal fae, and when they come to light, Winter's rising power may just give Izolt the strength he needs to silence Sorin forever.
