Miracle Working God Volume 1-The Miracles of Jesus ChristJesus Christ, God's only son performed many miracles. Only 37 miracles are written and many others are not even recorded in the Bible, John 21v25. A miracle is an unbelievable, unexpected outpouring power of God. It shows God's touch in humans' lives. Miracles always happen to push the kingdom of God in some way forward. Whatever Jesus did during his earthly ministry was not random, but Go was involved. It was in line to the will of God; John 4v34, 5v30, Luke 22v42, Psalm 40v6-8.
He did miracles to reveal and advance God's kingdom. In all his miracles, he healed physically by prayer or just saying a word, cast out demons, provided meals, controlled or changed elements such as water, wind, and rain. He also raised people from the dead. In doing all these miracles, God had a bigger plan. The plan was salvation for humanity. Also Jesus wanted to reveal his divine identity and authority as the saviour and anointed son of God, John 11v41-42, John 3v36. Through miracles Jesus confirmed who he is, John 3v38, Mark 2v1-2.
 He opened people's hearts to receive his message and trust him as their saviour, John 2v23-25, 11v45. He provided true evidence that he is God's only son sent to be your saviour, John 3v16-17. By miracles he showed great compassion for humanity, Matthew 14v14, meeting their deepest needs, John 4v10, Luke 8v35, lifting their burdens, Matthew 11v28, and healing their diseases Matthew 4v23. He showed God's love, Matthew 4v23.
 Having the power to help people, he did so willingly by miracles.
