Expulsion
Tasha est expulsée des USA, elle doit quitter le pays le soir-même pour retourner vivre en Jamaïque. Et c'est précisément ce jour-là que Daniel la croise et tombe amoureux. "Amoureux" c'est un grand mot, et pourtant cela devient son challenge. Aimer Tasha, aujourd'hui, et faire en sorte qu'elle l'aime aussi.
Et au milieu de leur journée va se glisser un tourbillon d'autres vies, croisées, frôlées, de cultures abordées, de notions scientifiques expliquées.
Ici nous est dévoilé la naissance d'un amour, où chaque personne qui joue un rôle dans ce joli début va avoir voix au
chapitre. Ainsi, l'agent du Service de la Citoyenneté, la serveuse d'un restaurant coréen ou encore l'assistante de l'avocat chargé de la défendre vont chacun s'exprimer, raconter un bout de leur (petite ?) vie, et enrichir encore cette histoire.

C'est le hasard qui les a mis sur le même chemin... Tout les oppose. Le premier est d'origine coréenne, rêveur poète. Elle, est jamaïcaine beaucoup plus pragmatique et ne se fait aucune illusion concernant l'amour...
Elle est sur le point de se faire expulser du pays... Daniel et Natasha ont une journée à peine pour apprendre à se connaître et se découvrir, et qui sait : tomber amoureux...
Une jolie histoire où s’entremêlent plein de personnages, et de sujets compliqués comme l'immigration clandestine, les stéréotypes culturels ou encore l'acceptation de la différence...
