Résumé

C.S. Lewis has captivated generations of children with his fabulous Chronicles of Narnia, seven classic stories in which magic meets reality and good triumphs over evil. But he wrote more than 30 books, most designed to inspire an adult readership, and became justly renowned as the most influential spiritual writer of his day. The C.S. Lewis Signature Classics series brings a selection of the author's most renowned books into the 21 st century for a new generation of people who seek calm and inspiration in a hectic and ever-changing world. Millions of words have been written on the true nature of love, but few are as succinct as in this book. This seminal inspirational work divides 'love' into four categories : Affection, Friendship, Eros and Charity. The first three come naturally, but without Charity, C.S. Lewis shows how all love can became distorted, bitter and even dangerous.
