Résumé

Paranoia ... it seems to stalk our cities and haunt our lives. We dare not let our children play outside. We're suspicious of strangers. Security cameras are everywhere. But is paranoia a modern phenomenon, or has it always been with us ? What causes it ? And what can we do to combat it ? Daniel and Jason Freeman draw on the latest scientific research to show that paranoia is both astonishingly common and likely to grow in the coming years- with far-reaching consequences for us all.
This lively and challenging book is essential reading for our time.
