With the films on this DVD, Peider A. Defilla provides an insight into the chamber music works of Jörg Widmann. The DVD contains musica-viva performances of 16 April and 16 November 2004 with the works 'Skelett' for percussion solo with Stefan Blum, 'Signale' for six voices with the Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, and 'Hallstudie' for piano with Irene Russo. In an interview, the composer Jörg Widmann answers questions on current issues of musical composition.
