Using a book to explain what is going on inside yourself takes away the need to be sure that what someone is saying, is not being said just for their own self-promotion. Separating the message from the messenger allows one to contemplate it dispassionately and in one's own time. The message that is contained in this book, is that by starting with the understanding that the Sun is behind all life, we then go onto comparing and contrasting our inner selves with simple observations of the Earth's interactions with its environment.
This is about learning to safely look and understand what is going on within. Although we already have all the information that we require to do this, it is both fragmented and dispersed, all that was needed was to be able to bring it all together in one coherent package. This book goes on to explain how and why you really do need to look within and the consequences that will blight your life if you do not.
Then, by following the example of a natural process that can be applied in a human context, you gain the knowledge and ability to re-wire yourself. Just by having this ability to remove emotional compulsions and unwanted beliefs does indeed produce better health, greater vitality and mental happiness. What more could you ask for to be explained in a book?
