A 29, 000 word novella, Young Blood is the third story in the An Accidental Vampire series based on a character from the novelBlood Justice. In 1648 France, the young blood vampire Simone Gireaux, a farmer's widow, wants only to quietly learn to live among mortals. But, by witnessing the murder of a Duchesse before she reaches the mountain town of Noir Montagne, she finds her learning curve quicker and more dangerous than she was prepared for.
Partnering with Jacques Fashette, the Duke's vampire security chief, surviving assassination attempts, and sword fight which she is woefully ill prepared for, she comes to know that the aristocracy is no stranger to love, betrayal, and murder. In the final confrontation truth leads to tragedy as well as prosperity.

A propos de David Burton

David Burton is an American writer living in sunny Southern California. He traveled by motorcycle through Mexico, US, Canada and Alaska. From motorcycles he turned to the ocean, building and sailing his own boats to Mexico, Tahiti, Hawaii, and through the Panama Canal to Florida. He spent a lot of time reading while on the water, so he decided to write books he would have wanted to read at sea. Having swallowed the anchor he now mops floors and collects trash for money, writes for a living, and has become a (temporarily?) unrequited sailor.
