The Old Testament prophet, Daniel, wrote that prophecy would be more clearly understood as knowledge increases in the end times and it is an exciting fact. "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased... for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end." (Dan. 12:4, 9 KJV). It has been said that if this world's history could be condensed into a twenty-four-hour period, all the major events and discoveries would have happened in the last 24 hours.
This is one of the major signs of the Soon Return of the Lord Jesus Christ. As historical events unfold the Signs of the Times are evident for all who will see. Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:4 "But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief." The Lord Jesus Christ put it this way: "And when these things begin to come to pass, then LOOK UP, and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28). This is a powerful short read that will make you stop and think!
