What Blackwood Buried

Blackwood, 1984. A dying mill town where everyone waves on Main Street and no one asks about the summer of '75. Then the killing starts. One by one, the town's teenagers turn up dead-posed, silent, staged with a cruelty the sheriff can't explain and won't discuss. When the police triumphantly arrest a local outcast, Blackwood exhales. The curfew lifts. Two nights later, another body proves them all wrong.
Dana Whitlock, seventeen and hungry for a real story for the school paper, refuses to look away. But the deeper she digs, the clearer it becomes that these deaths aren't random. Someone is keeping a list. Someone is settling a debt this town pawned off years ago and prayed no one would remember. The truth is buried under nine years of small-town silence-and the closer Dana gets to it, the closer it gets to her own front door.
