Résumé
Wannabe Bible Prophecies: Revised and Expanded Second Edition argues that most of the so-called "prophecies" in the Bible were simply narratives written after the events, and Christian writers changed the story to fit and convince the faithful that the earlier Hebrew texts were fulfilled. This book aim is to analyze the problems in the interpretations of the biblical verses that have been changed, mistranslated, and reinterpreted to support new ideas that did not exist in the original writings.
The reader will discover a lot about the creation of Virgin Birth story, how the "Suffering Servant" of Isaiah had been repurposed, and passages edited or reframed to appear as prophecy fulfilled. The book shows a very clear pattern of manipulation and the turning of "ordinary" scriptures into "prophecies, " through cunning wording, selective quoting, and recycled myths. This is not an attack on anyone's faith.
It is an invitation to think critically and examine what the biblical authors actually wrote, what later editors changed, and how those changes shaped what millions believe today. It is an opportunity for believers and non believers alike, to engage with the biblical texts critically by examining the translations and interpretations within the text. The current edition, highlights and provides more examples and clear reasoning, which facilitate the understanding of what goes into the making of prophecy, showing how easily a mistakenly interpreted verse can become a "divine prediction."Readers of Wannabe Bible Prophecies will be convinced to cross-examine the proof, challenge the commonly accepted teachings, and trace back to the actual events the verses that have been cited for ages as the source of supernatural foresight.
The truth will prevail over tradition.
