Résumé
VMF -213 Flight Surgeon's Records is a collection of William Cook Livingood's records and documents, as Flight Surgeon during VMF 213's three combat tours in 1943 and includes some pre-combat tour materials. These records include the Flight Surgeon's logs, containing both squadron and pilot daily activity, pilot medical records, including those relating to accidents, injuries sustained in combat, and diseases, and operational records, including pilot flight records, Japanese planes shot down, and both physical and mental status.
Additionally, the records include an End of Combat Tour Report and a February 1943 Squadron Roster of both assigned Officers and Enlisted. The Hell Hawk Poems, collected by William Cook Livingood, Sr., are included in this book as a Part 2 because they are on occasion referenced in the Introduction and in the edited comments to the Flight Surgeon's Log; a number of the poems were written by a VMF 213 pilot.
