True Love Waits

Statistics do not bleed or cry, yet they show us trends and thus indicate the behaviors of people. Judging by the data, there are no encouraging elements regarding the sexual experiences that many young people are having in today's world. For example, in Mexico, the age of sexual initiation for males is 17 years and for females, it is 15.5 years old. This leads to over 29 pregnancies in mothers under 19 years of age in that country, of which at least 10% undergo abortions.
Another study conducted in the U. S. shows that nearly 90% of people in a sample of 38, 000 had had relationships before marriage. These numbers are misleading because someone might assume that the quantity indicates it is normal... and that is not necessarily the case. The proposal of this book is that TRUE LOVE WAITS, a concept derived from 1 Corinthians 13, the chapter on love. It is important for young people to know why it is so important to wait.
